In conclusion, let me just add that camDown and that's the the real deal.

Mariska Hargitay has laid down the law — all while stealthily avoiding one of those cringe-worthy “don’t you know who I am?!” moments.

As if “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” star wasn’t badass enough: A now-viral video captured the Emmy-winning actress springing into action to save a shoot from a disruptive singing man on Tuesday. A clip of the confrontation amassed more than 42,000 views as of Thursday morning.

The epic 30-second encounter, taped in Washington Square Park, shows Hargitay — who plays justice-crusading Captain Olivia Benson on the NBC crime series — diplomatically telling the vocal interloper to hold off on singing, as it was impeding production.

“Your singing was beautiful — but we’re just trying to get the shot,” Hargitay, 57, politely told the man, who is standing off-camera. “Is it OK if you don’t sing when we say, ‘Action’?”

Showrunner Warren Leight exclusively told The Post that while he wasn’t on set that day, he has since touched base with Hargitay and a producer who were there. After crew members were unable to get the warbler to pipe down, Hargitay strolled over, complimented him on his “beautiful voice” — and gently requested that he can his serenade until they had their scene in the can.

But what happened next sent the “L&O: SVU” boss into hysterics.

“He goes, ‘Who are you?’” Leight, 64, told The Post, laughing while retelling Hargitay’s tale. “And she goes, ‘Well, I’m on the show.’ And he goes, ‘You’re on the show?’ She goes, “Yes, actually, I am.’”

“I think he realized something was going on when everybody started filming her talking to him,” added Leight. “He looked around and was like, ‘Are you famous?’ And she goes, ‘Well, yeah, I guess so.’”

With that, the interruptive singer offered to stop if she would give him her autograph, which she said she “absolutely” would do once they were finished with the scene, which will air in the Jan. 6, 2022, episode of “SVU.”

Unfortunately, it was a long, complicated shoot and, by the time she came back, he was gone.

“He never got the autograph,” said Leight.

But Leight said Hargitay is “always very gracious” with bystanders when shooting in public, often signing autographs and taking selfies between takes on the show, which is now in its 23rd season with more than 500 episodes in the can.

Apparently “SVU” fans agree.

“She is such a class act,” gushed one Hargitay fan about her interaction on Twitter, while another wrote that Hargitay would make a great “public school teacher.”

Leight even complimented his leading lady’s actions in a tweet himself, writing, “What other #1 on the call sheet could do this?”

Leight told The Post that she is “unusually open and accessible” in that respect — and he thinks that has appeal to many New Yorkers.

“I think she could run for mayor and win pretty easily,” he added.

“She likes it. That’s why I said a lot of the No. 1s on the call sheet, the star of the show — most of those kind of people don’t want to interact with hoi polloi, you know?” he said. “But she loves it.”

And he gave her major props for how, after so many years, she is still able to be calm in crisis.

“She’s unflappable,” Leight said of Hargitay. “Every episode is eight days to shoot and four are on the stage, so that’s 2,000 days of shooting on the streets of New York. Nothing’s gonna happen at this point that’s gonna throw her.”
